A terrible secret is hidden behind the career of the world famous singer Robbie Williams from Take That and her first boyfriend Nicole Appleton from the no less famous group All Saints.
Robbie and Nicole had to kill their first child, even though he wanted it so badly, and he told pregnant Nicole more than once: “This baby is saving my life!”
However, instead of welcoming the child into the world, the future parents turned into murderers. For fame, work and money.
The Take That singer, 50, and All Saints star, 49, were secretly preparing to become parents for the first time in the late 1990s.
Under pressure from Nicole’s profit-hungry record company, she has an abortion.
The entire drama in the film was filmed based on the biography of Robbie – “The Best Man”.
Today, Robbie and Nicole are on good terms and she attended the film’s premiere in Leicester Square in central London.
According to The Sun, the singer performed his song She’s The One at the after party and dedicated it to Nicole.
Both Robbie and Nicole have reportedly approved the script for the film.
Ida Field, Robbie Williams’ current wife, was also present at the premiere and the after-party.
In the film, Robbie’s need for fame is seen as conflicting with his relationship with Nicole, as he once abandoned her at an All Saints party to go to dinner with Liam Gallagher, who would later marry and divorce Nicole.
There’s a touching moment in the film where the two are decorating a nursery, but Nicole is later seen going to an abortion clinic.
“Nicole Appleton is very brave for letting us tell this part of the story,” the sometimes scandalous Robbie admits.
Talking to Nelo! Ahead of the premiere, the singer explained how he invited Nicole to a preview, before admitting: “The hardest part is watching Nicole and what we went through because he was instructed to get rid of our baby…”
The singer added: “I didn’t make her do it, but I was terrible to her, really terrible. I was in the throes of addiction and alcohol. And my heart breaks every time I look at her because she’s a complete angel.” And you still feel ashamed of who you were at that time.
Robbie adds that they shed a lot of tears after the show and he was looking forward to hugging her on Wednesday.
Nicole revealed her perspective on their relationship and breakup in her 2002 autobiography. In it, she tells how she became pregnant with Ruby’s child, but suffered a miscarriage after pressure from All Saints’ record label.
Robbie agreed to support his former friend’s decision to write about the abortion in his autobiography, but later admitted that the experience had left him “torn” again.
The singer is working on Better Man from 2021. – The film will release on December 26.
Today, Robbie Williams and his wife Aida Field (married since 2010) enjoy family happiness and a home full of children’s laughter. They raise their three children – Teddy, Charlie and Coco – away from public places and never show their faces in front of the media or on social networks. But it is clear that the memory of the first lost child remains forever.
As the saying goes – never ask how I made my first million. In the Robbie and Nicole drama, it’s best not to ask how high the price of their fame is, writes the Telegraph.
