The news came as the icing on the cake at BFS’s centenary celebrations on Monday evening. The ceremony, which was held at the Millennium Hotel in the capital, was attended by the world’s football elite, led by FIFA President Gianni Infantino, who was impressed by his knowledge of the history of Bulgarian football. UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin was also a guest, as was Bulgarian Rumen Radev. Also active throughout the day was Hristo Stoichkov, who welcomed some guests into his Hall of Fame, and later Infantino himself came there.
At the end of the ceremony, the Marketing Director of the Football Association, Plamen Petrov, revealed the anticipated match between the legends of Bulgaria and the legends of “Real Madrid” (Madrid). The excellent relationship between former Tourism Minister Nikolina Angelkova and the giant from the Santiago Bernabéu helps bring about this historic event. A few weeks ago, it was also announced that the Spanish giant will open a sports school in our country.

The youngest Real fans in Bulgaria will have the opportunity not only to watch some of their stars on the field, but also to train with coaches from Madrid.
Petrov continued: “There will be a children’s camp that will be held in Boyana. It will last for 5 days and be repeated 5 times in two months. More than 1,200 children will be able to participate. At the celebratory evening held in Sofia, BFS expressed its satisfaction with the event, which has been organized for more than a year. More than 45 artists in different styles took to the stage, and speeches were given by Infantino, Ceferin, Georgi Ivanov and Hristo Stoichkov, as well as Rumen Radev himself.
