2024 Honda Amaze to be launched in India tomorrow – haroonabadvital.com
- Refreshed from the inside out
- The first ADAS in the segment is expected
Honda is all set to launch the third generation Amaze in India tomorrow. While some dealers have started receiving units with details of the changes, the official unveiling will take place tomorrow in Delhi along with the variable price announcement.
Thanks to the leaked images, we all already know what the car looks like with its front design like the Elevate, and the rear like the City. It looks good, is well proportioned and matches the country’s automaker portfolio. It is also said to be 33mm wider than the outgoing model, which will be confirmed tomorrow.
Inside, the new Amaze gets a redesigned dashboard with cloth upholstery. The compact sedan will be offered in three variants – V, VX, and ZX. In terms of features, the top ZX model will likely come with LED headlights and taillights, rear AC vents, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a wireless charger. However, the images show that it will not get ventilated front seats or a sunroof.
However, in terms of safety, Honda is said to have equipped the 2024 Amaze with a lane-keeping camera, six airbags, and an advanced driver assistance system. This latest feature will be a first in the segment if confirmed at launch. However, you may not get a 360-degree camera like the new Dzire, but a rear parking camera will still be offered on the higher-spec versions.
Powertrain
This will be the third generation Honda Amaze and will be powered by the same 1.2-litre petrol engine as the previous model. It will be mated to a five-speed manual gearbox as standard and also has a CVT option.
